Back in 1975  a number of young teaching friends got together to play early music……and we’re still playing!

Today we have a multi talented and well experienced consort of players available to play and present in an informal and relaxed style.

Our music is wide ranging.  We play predominantly from the 16th to 18th century repertoire but can offer consort music to the present day.

Our instrumental line up includes recorders (high and low consort), viols, chalumeau, sackbut, crumhorns and voice together with examples of ‘broken’ consort.

Previous concerts, performances and presentations have taken place at:

Sudbury Hall, Kedleston Hall, Hardwick Hall, Derby’s Voice Box, Derby Music Club, Derby U3A, Belvoir Castle, St Peter’s Church Littleover, St Mary’s Church Wirksworth
